Accessibility statement
This statement applies to kitchensinkworks.com. It describes our conformance goal, how we test, what we know is imperfect, and how to get help.

Conformance status
KitchenSinkWorks aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Status: Partially conformant. The site meets most AA success criteria; known gaps are listed below and tracked for remediation.
This site was tested with axe-core 4.10.2 against the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA rulesets on September 21, 2026, with zero violations across all nine pages.
Scope
This statement covers public pages on kitchensinkworks.com, including the homepage, sector pages, About, Working with me, Contact, and this statement.
Third-party embeds (for example a scheduling widget, if one is added to the Contact page) are outside our full control. We frame them deliberately and provide an email fallback when the embed is unavailable.
Known limitations
We document gaps rather than hide them. Current known limitations:
- Scheduling embed
- A Cal.com or Calendly scheduling embed may be added to the Contact page later. When it is, its internal UI will be governed by the vendor’s accessibility. Email booking remains available as the fallback.
- Third-party embeds
- Any scheduling widgets and similar embeds framed on the page are governed by the vendor’s accessibility. Email fallbacks remain available.

Assessment approach
This site is evaluated through a combination of:
- Manual keyboard navigation and screen-reader evaluation with VoiceOver on Safari (macOS) during design and development
- Automated scanning for common failures (contrast, labels, landmarks)
- Review against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria before material releases
